Delbard Roses

Red Intuition HT

One of the most sought after Exhibtion Roses there is. Long stems of striking striped red blooms that last long for cutting. An Exhibiton Rose that requires extra care in the garden.

Pink Intuition HT
The pink sport of "Red Intuition". Every bit as striking with long stems and perfect for cutting and bringing into the house. An Exhibiton Rose that requires extra care in the garden.

Alfred Sisley S
Part of "Les Roses De Peintres" Alfred bears large blooms streaked with tones of orange and orange red against white. Like all the Delbards they are wonderfully vigorous and fragrant.

Bordure Rose® (syn. 'Strawberry Ice') Mfl

Exceptional disease resistance this low growing rose makes an almost literal cushion of flower throughout the season. Plant in a minimum of three or more for the greatest effect.

Bordure Vive® Pol

A low growing Polyantha noted for healthy foliage. The blooms are cyclamen pink particularly towards the centres. A very early flowering rose.

Chartreuse de Parme® HT
Lightly toned mauve blooms with a rich scent bearing notes of mango, tangerine, lemon and hyacinth. The bush is full and the blooms large. Winner of the 1996 Perfume Prize at the Paris Trials.

Dames De Chenonceau® HT

Old fashioned blooms start with dark salmon buds and open to lighter tones of pink with orange and apricot nuances. Rich perfume of narcissi with hints of chives and even leather. Named after the Castle de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley.

France Info® HT

A breathtaking rose. Buds of burnt golden orange open to very full blooms of golden yellow with carmine tints on the edges. Perfume notes of black currant with honey and mint. If Vincent Van Gogh had coloured a rose while in Arles this would be it.

Henri Matisse® HT
Stripes of light red and deep pink laced with white cover deeply cupped blooms with the fragrance of rose and raspberry. I planted Henri in my no spray garden at home and it has taken off!

Madame Bovary® S

Named after Flaubert's heroine this lovely rose of deep pink bears a lighter reverse with perfume of floral, fruity notes peppered with jasmine. The growth is upright and the bush quite vigorous.

Nahema® LCl

Bearing the name of the perfume of Guerlain this stunning climber has a perfume of fruit with notes of lemon grass. The blooms are of a soft pink, very full, cupped and deliciously old fashioned in shape.

Pierre Gagnaire® S
Small buds open to single blooms of creamy white with hints of pink on the reverse. Bright yellow stamens complete the picture and the blooms are borne in trusses of 20 and more. Fruity fragrance, great disease resistance and constant flowering.

Papi Delbard® LCl
What a truly, truly stunning climbing rose. Very few climbers bear blooms from top to bottom but Papi does. Large blooms of fruity fragrance with colours of orange, yellow and apricot appear all season long. Wildly fragrant.
